I'm a huge fan of the Commodore Amiga (the world's first psychedelic computer), but what sucked me in as a youngster were games for it made by the Liverpool game developer Psygnosis. Pretty much all of the code is done up to episode #12 and the game we're going to be building is a nice Scramble clone for the Amiga A500. 
A game like Shadow of the Beast appears to be something that should be on the list tho, as it seems to be pretty much WHOLLY Amiga-exclusive.
